A club director has flown to meet Jhon Duran over a surprise deal that could bring him back to Europe, just months after his move to Al-Nassr.
Duran signed for Al-Nassr from Aston Villa in January for a transfer fee of up to £71 million.
He signed a lucrative contract worth a whopping £16.7 million annually, which amounts to around £46,000 daily.

But just five months after signing for the Saudi Arabian club, he is already linked with a move away from the Middle East.
Fenerbahce in hard running
Fenerbahce are interested in signing Duran this summer and have made a significant loan offer of £13.7 million for the 2025/26 season.
According to journalist Sercan Hamzaoglu from Haber Global, this sum covers his full annual salary, and the player is expected to make a decision soon.
To speed up the process, Fenerbahce’s sporting director Devin Özek has traveled to Colombia to meet Duran in person and persuade him to accept the offer. Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reports that Özek hopes to strike a deal with the 21-year-old through this meeting.
Fenerbahce, who are now led by former Premier League manager José Mourinho, want to take advantage of Duran’s qualities next season.
More clubs on the hunt
According to TEAMtalk, Fenerbahce is not the only club that is following the situation closely. Al-Nassr are open to a sale transfer.
West Ham United, who had a £57 million bid rejected before Duran’s move to Al-Nassr, are among six Premier League clubs monitoring the situation.
The Hammers see the striker as a potentially “valuable addition” to the attacking line and a player who can bring “energy and goal-scoring flair” to the team.
Wolves and Fulham, as well as three named English clubs, are also in the picture.
Duran has scored 12 goals in 18 games across all competitions since arriving at Al-Nassr.
