The arrows have definitely been pointing downwards in recent seasons for Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilón. The former Manchester United, Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid and Brentford player is negotiating with Girona about a return to La Liga.

Girona, who have the same owners as Manchester City, have had a troubled start to the La Liga season with only 0 points in 3 games. Manager Míchel, who is a current heir to Pep Guardiola at the Sky Blues, needs to turn things around quickly. – Bringing in Reguilón could be what is needed for a turnaround.

The 28-year-old Sergio Reguilón is without a club after his contract with Tottenham expired.

According to Estadio Deportivo, which Mundo Deportivo refers to, the full-back is now in negotiations with La Liga side Girona. A final transfer decision is expected in the coming weeks.
