Now the centre-back is being linked with a transfer away from Allsvenskan.
According to Aftonbladet, Blackburn Rovers are said to show interest in the 25-year-old player. The newspaper states that an initial contact has been made by the Championship club regarding a transfer.
The information does not say how Malmö FF relates to a possible sale of the Norwegian this summer.
Rösler has played 43 games for Malmö since joining the club.
