Last season, the Spanish media hailed Griezmann/Sørloth as one of the sharpest attacking duos in La Liga. The two strikers are what is called complementary, two players who complement each other on the pitch – and take advantage of this. Last summer, Griezmann was rumoured to be on his way away from Atletico, but chose to extend until 2027. In recent weeks, the French legend has once again been warned of his way out. Atletico’s sporting director promised supporters in February that this is just speculation, but on Tuesday the confirmation ticked in.

Griez has previously stated that he wants to end his career in MLS – and that will be Trumpland on the French legend.

MLS club Orlando City confirms Griezmann has signed and will travel to the United States in July with a contract until the end of the 2027/28 season.

Sørloth and Antoine Griezmann are two complementary types of players, with the Frenchman often delivering the creative passes that end with Sørloth’s clinical finishing. Last season, the duo was highlighted in the Spanish media as one of the best attacking combinations in La Liga. Then the French/Norwegian duo will have to take advantage of the last few months, this summer this chapter will be closed.
