Andre Onana is done at Manchester United. At the beginning of the transfer window, the United goalkeeper was determined to fight to keep his place, then came the injury in preseason and the start of the Premier League season slipped. Altay Bayindir hasn’t impressed in the first-choice role either, but when Senne Lammens was brought in on Deadline Day, it was clear that Onana had moved backwards in the playing time queue. Now it’s ready for rent. Or is it?

According to transfer journalist Romano, Manchester United and Trabzonspor have agreed on a loan deal, now missing a thumbs up from Onana.

The transfer window in Turkish football does not close until September 12, but according to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, Trabzonspor are pushing to have a deal in place within 24 hours. The Turkish club should be confident that Onana will get on the plane to Turkey, but after previously reported exits for Onana, we don’t think until we see it.
