The Tottenham owners celebrated a real warp of a signing, when they in 2021 persuaded the genius sporting director Fabio Paratici to take the job as Director of Football. The former Juventus director went out loud, brought in Antonio Conte and players from Serie A, but disappeared right after Conte left/was fired in March 2023. Paratici was sentenced to a 30-month ban from football for accounting fraud during his time at Juventus. After the quarantine was over in October, the Italian returned to Spurs, but apparently not for long.
There is a lot that is not right at Tottenham these days, a situation Paratici is unlikely to be the man to get on the right track. According to transfer journalist Nicolo Schira, the Italian is also close to an exit from the London club.

Paratici is reported to be on the verge of reaching an agreement with crisis-ridden Fiorentina, with the Tottenham director stepping in as “Head of Football”, with a contract until 2030. The Tottenham management does not stand in the way, the green light has been given.
At Fiorentina, United legend De Gea has gone from his debut season with great success as one of Serie A’s best goalkeepers and 6th place with a Conference League ticket, to this season leaking like a sieve with 26 backwards in 15 games and rock bottom in the Serie A table.
