Tottenham thought they agreed with Eberechi Eza. Then Arsenal came in from the left and grabbed the signing of the England international. Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner believed until last week before the Arsenal signing he still had Eze in the squad for the rest of the season. In other words, not an optimal situation for Palace. In a short time, the club has turned around to find a replacement, just under a third of the sales revenue on Eze is now sent to La Liga.
Palace sold Eze reluctantly, but Arsenal had to part with the equivalent of €70-80 million, including bonuses. According to The Athletic, Crystal Palace are now paying around €25 million for the replacement.

22-year-old Yeremy Pino has 15 caps for Spain, plays equally naturally on both wings and has 170 appearances for Villareal. The English media reports Palace are close to signing Pino, who is on his way to London to sign a five-year contract.
This is one of Spain’s chosen young players who got to wear the national team shirt when the nation won Euro 2024 (three games), so the potential to replace Eze is clearly there.
