Jeppe Kjær transferred from Bodø/Glimt to Mjällby AIF in 2025. Since January 2023, the Danish striker had rounds on loan at Sandefjord and Fredrikstad, but got playing time in 10 games in Glimt’s first team, including Europa League against Lazio and Tottenham. The 22-year-old still follows the elite league closely, and has a clear opinion on why the phenomenon Bodø/Glimt is in the round of 8 in the Champions League.
The 22-year-old player last season helped win a sensational Allsvenskan gold with Mjällby, the success of Bodø/Glimt he treats to his former club.

-It’s crazy. You have to take your hat off and say that it is a fantastic piece of work. I’ve been there, and they have a lot of faith in things, and it’s a great club,” Kjær begins, according to Fotbollskanalen.
“I’m actually not surprised, but I think it’s great for them,” the former Glimt player continues.
Who is in no doubt why the Champions League success comes for Bodø/Glimt.
“They are a bunch of smart people who believe in themselves and who work 100 percent every day. In this way, you can prove that it is not just about money. It’s a team that stands together in everything they do, and I think that’s the reason why they’ve come this far,” the Dane boasts.
