Jørgen Strand Larsen knows what David Møller Wolfe is good for

David Møller Wolfe on the transfer to Wolves:
“It feels absolutely incredible. I am so, so happy and proud to be part of Wolves. I’m in seventh heaven right now.”

“I felt very wanted from the very first conversation with Domenico [sporting director] and the coach. The Premier League is a big, big league – especially in Norway. It’s the biggest league people follow, so when a Premier League club like Wolverhampton came for me, I was incredibly motivated to join.”

“I’m really looking forward to playing for Wolverhampton in front of the fans and can’t wait to face them.”

On a “Wolfe” who plays for Wolves:
“Personally, I think it’s pretty cool to have that last name and then play for Wolverhampton.”

“Me and my brothers actually joked a bit about it a few years ago, and now it’s becoming a reality. I almost think it was meant to happen.”

On what fans can expect:
“I’m an incredibly hard-working player who can run up and down the left wing for 90 minutes without a break. I give a lot of energy to the team and always do my best to help.”

“I’m very confident. I think I have the qualities needed in the Premier League. Here I get to play as a wingback, which gives me even more freedom to go on offensive runs – I’m looking forward to it!”

On recreating Eredivisie form at Wolves: “Two years ago,
my family and I made a decision to go to AZ Alkmaar as an intermediate step before the next big step.”

“Now I feel completely ready – ready for the Premier League and to perform for Wolverhampton. I am also very grateful to A-Z for helping me with this step.”

On reunion with Jørgen Strand Larsen:
“I have talked to Jørgen about the transfer. The first time a few weeks ago, and then again a few days ago. He has only positive things to say about the club, the people here, the fans and the city. I’m looking forward to meeting him and training with him again.”

“It’s exciting for me and Jørgen has a very good relationship off the pitch, so let’s hope we can build on that on the pitch as well.”

On meeting the new teammates:
“I can’t wait to train with the guys. I think I can start on Tuesday, and then we have a game on Saturday before the Premier League starts. I’m ready!”

“These are the games I’ve always dreamed of playing. To get Man City in the first leg is maybe the best thing that could have happened.”
