The Tottenham owners celebrated a real warp of a signing, when they in 2021 persuaded the genius sporting director Fabio Paratici to take the job as Director of Football. The former Juventus director went out loud, brought in Antonio Conte and players from Serie A, but disappeared right after Conte left/was fired in March 2023. Paratici was sentenced to a 30-month ban from football for accounting fraud during his time at Juventus. After the quarantine was over in October 2025, the Italian returned to Spurs, but apparently not for long. Now it will be a return to Serie A to “clean up”.
