Captain Martin Ødegaard can’t play many games like tonight before Declan Rice takes over the captain’s armband. – The Norwegian midfielder was replaced and got the worst score of all. – But he was not alone in being flabby and pale, something Declan Rice described in colorful terms.
Declan Rice described Arsenal’s performance as “fucking bad” after their goalless draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early game gave Arsenal the opportunity to increase their lead to nine points at the top of the Premier League.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side were unable to find a way past a well-organised Forest side, and the draw has put the Gunners seven points ahead of City and Villa, who play at home to Everton on Sunday.
Rice seemed frustrated after the final whistle, and when he walked up to Arsenal’s away fans at The City Ground, the TV cameras clearly caught the midfielder saying: “Fuck so bad, every fucking time.”
Meanwhile, Arteta insists that Arsenal created enough chances to beat Forest.
“Obviously, we wanted to win the game and we knew the game was going to be tough and very even, with the way they played. We created four big chances,” Arteta said.
“It’s happening all over the league for every single team. We have to improve and do better, and especially when you create four big chances like the ones we created, you have to put them.”
