In fact, AC Milan management are so impressed with Modric, that there is no reason to postpone a contract extension to see if the 40-year-old’s physique can handle the pressure. According to La Gazetta dello Sport, it is agreed between the club and Modric that this must continue after the contract expires in the summer, a new contract is expected to be ready and signed well before the end of the season.
Ronaldo, this is impressive for a 40-year-old.
