Igor Tudor was surprisingly brought in as a saviour for Tottenham after Thomas Frank was sacked in mid-February. The former Juventus coach did not have a day of Premier League experience, but could show good results as a tough savior at clubs outside the ball island who had suddenly fired their coach. Now the big question is being asked: When will Tottenham have to sack the “saviour”?
Tudor stated at the time of his appointment that he was 100 percent guaranteed that Tottenham will not be relegated. Three games later, with three defeats, the London club balance one point above the relegation zone. Then Tudor stated that he saw something in the last game against Crystal Palace that made him now “believe even more that they will succeed”.

After fifteen minutes into the next game, Tottenham were 3-0 down and ended with a 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Tudor had stated before the game that he prioritized the Premier League, but for the Spurs supporters, the big loss before the second leg in London was simply embarrassing. Yes, there were some ugly goalkeeping mistakes, but this was a collective big loss for the club that under Thomas Frank had distinguished itself in the Champions League as the 4th best club in the “group stage”.
The Daily Mail claims the Spurs management is giving Tudor four games to show they don’t have to rush in a new manager for the rest of the season, where progress must be seen in every game. The first leg ended 5-2, the exit Champions League is more or less assured. On Sunday, the trip goes to Anfield for a meeting with Liverpool. Three former Tottenham managers are ready to step in, the big question is whether the management dares to believe that Igor Tudor will crack the code against the reigning Premier League champions.
