A World Cup without the world’s best football nation is not a World Cup. Brazil is the only national team to have participated in all the playoffs that have been held. They have won five World Cup titles, and the national team has also won the Copa América and the Confederations Cup.

Typical that the first World Cup in over 20 years that Norway seems to qualify for will be destroyed.

There is not a bigger idiot on the planet than US President Donald Trump and his cult followers, there is nothing he cannot destroy and now FIFA President Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino lets him destroy football as well.

How the United States will be able to arrange an international championship together with Canada and Mexico is unimaginable, and now that Doanld Trump is in conflict with Brazil because he supports his fascist friend Jair Bolsonaro, the World Cup is in danger. Giovann Infantino must move the World Cup immediately or beware of ending up on the wrong side of history.

Brazil’s president speaks out after Donald Trump considers the most insane World Cup ban so far

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has come out strongly against Donald Trump, after the US president is considering denying Brazilians entry to the World Cup next year.

In less than 12 months, the United States will host 48 soccer nations fighting for the World Cup trophy, along with co-hosts Mexico and Canada.

Despite the fact that the United States has claimed that they “look forward to welcoming football fans from all over the world”, the participation of supporters of one big nation is now in doubt.

Trump considers visa ban for Brazilians

According to the American news channel CNN, Trump is considering introducing visa restrictions for Brazilians, which will not be lifted during the World Cup.

The report claims that Trump hopes such a ban can influence the Brazilian public opinion and push the population to turn against Lula’s government.

Journalist Lourival Sant’Anna has claimed that the tightened visa restrictions for Brazilian citizens have already been implemented, before a senatorial group is due to travel to Washington this week.

Lula strikes back

Although he has not publicly addressed the CNN report, Lula spoke out against Trump’s economic pressure on Brazil in an interview with the New York Times.

“There is no reason to be afraid,” Lula said.

“I’m worried, of course, because we have economic interests, political interests and technological interests. But Brazil will never negotiate as if we are a small country against a big country. Brazil will negotiate as a sovereign state.”

The president also indicated that his government is willing to discuss the current issues with Trump’s administration:

“In politics between two states, the will of one should not prevail. We must always find a middle ground. This is not achieved by playing big and threatening things you can’t do, nor by bowing your head and just saying ‘amen’ to everything the US wants,” he added.

Which other countries have been banned from the World Cup?

In June, Trump signed an executive order imposing travel bans to the United States for several countries, meaning that citizens of these nations cannot enter the United States for the foreseeable future.

One of the affected countries is Iran, which in March became the second team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

But for now, the Iranian national team will be allowed to participate in the United States this summer, while fans – and potentially also the media – will be denied entry.
