This is the season where Arsenal will finally take the Premier League title. Manager Mikel Arteta, who has gotten into the habit of leading the London club to second place in the league, has received plenty of money this summer, including the purchase of Swedish goal machine Viktor Gyökeres.
While everyone thought he was going to follow his old boss Ruben Amorim to Manchester United, he landed at the Emirates.

Already after three games, they are three points up on leaders Liverpool, who seem terribly strong this season as well.
“Arsenal teammates don’t trust Viktor Gyökeres”.
Troy Deeney is experiencing this, who believes that the Swede will lose his starting spot in the long run.
“Why don’t you think the players suit him?”
Watford profile Troy Deeney has not been impressed by what Viktor Gyökeres has shown so far.
In fact, the ex-forward even believes that “Gyökeres’ time as a starting striker at Arsenal will be over when Kai Havertz returns”. Reason? Because his teammates in the “Gunners” do not fully trust the Swede, he claims.
It is on Talksport that Deeney says:
“You have said that Arsenal’s players do not pass the ball to him (Gyökeres). Why do you think this is so? Do you think it’s because the midfielders and players at Arsenal aren’t good enough to watch the runs?”

One input that the profile was met with was that Arsenal’s players may not dare to make risky passes going forward, in the deep area. Then Deeney countered:
“Or they don’t trust him (Gyökeres).”
Deeney simply does not believe that Gyökeres will succeed in living up to the high expectations. Although the 27-year-old scored two goals against Leeds, he has delivered more anonymous performances against both Manchester United and Liverpool.
“Against Manchester United, there were four or five opportunities to put him in situations (behind the defensive line), but he made the wrong run and nobody said anything about it. So I think there’s an element of the players thinking, ‘We’re not sure about him.'”
“Because when Kai Havertz is fit and can play again, they’re going to give him the ball,” says Deeney, who scored 47 goals in 165 Premier League appearances as an active player.
Havertz has undergone surgery for a knee injury and is expected to be out for quite a while longer.
