Alejandro Garnacho has gone from the most spectacular, deserving of the Puskas Award in 2024, to asshole behaviour of kicking up the turf on the penalty spot to prevent his opponents from scoring. Still only 21 years young, the Argentine has now driven himself into a dead end that now sets him back.
Ruben Amorim has stated that the collaboration with Garnacho has not worked, it is especially the attitude of the winger United manager cannot accept. Chelsea do not see this problem and are heading towards a transfer for the 21-year-old in this transfer window, but a few weeks before closing, Garnacho is still in the “freezer” of self-training.

This puts the Argentine player out of the national team.
Because while the reigning world champions will face Venezuela and Ecuador in September in the World Cup qualifiers, Ganacho has not been invited. His national team debut with Argentina came in June 2023, after which the young player has steadily received invitations. This said stop in 2025. Still without international matches this year, in September there will be none for the 21-year-old either.
We hope it will be a wake-up call for Garnacho, who has taken on superstar behavior at far too early an age.
