Now the 31-year-old stands as a free agent after almost completing his doping quarantine and ending his employment relationship with Juventus. United legend Dwight York believes Amorim will bring Pogba back to Old Trafford in January.
“Paul Pogba is better than what we have, that’s for sure. If the fans will welcome him back and make life easy for him, I don’t know, that could be the problem he is facing,” York begins, according to Goal.
“An in-form Pogba, who plays football the way he can play football, will definitely add value to the team. He is a sensational player; He is a really good talent. He offers that extra bit of an X-factor by being there. He does things that no other player can do. I would like to believe that with the ban, he will have a lot to prove. He doesn’t drink, he obviously looks after himself, so you can give a two-year deal,” York continues.
