Malmö FF, who sold midfielder Hugo Larsson last summer to German club Eintracht Frankfurt for €9 million, will surely rake in a few extra millions on their share of resale. – The 20-year-old has “grown up” in the Bundesliga and delivers at a high level, which has put him on the radar of some of the world’s biggest clubs.

Tottenham have already been ahead and now Real Madrid are following up with interest in the Swede. Bild writes that Eintracht Frankfurt have set a preliminary price tag of 50 million euros.

In yesterday’s 2-1 win at MCH Arena against Midtjylland in the Europa League, Hugo Larsson scored the first goal and brought the midfielder up to four goals and one assist in 18 games this season.

“It was nice. I had family and friends there. It’s not in Sweden, but almost so they only had a few hours to drive. So it was fun to score in front of them in the stands. My second in the Europa League, I just want to keep going like that,” Larsson said in the Disney+ broadcast after the game.

The Swede’s progress has made other clubs open their eyes to him. Previously, Arsenal, Liverpool, AC Milan and other big clubs have shown interest.

Larsson extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt last autumn and the current deal ran until 2025.
