Several weeks ago it became clear that Paris Saint-Germain will win Ligue 1. – Finally, after yesterday’s 3 – 1 win over Euxerre at the Parc des Princes, they won the series with a whopping 19 points over Marseille. (The last champions league spot went to Monaco)

The game took a dramatic turn after just ten minutes, when Norwegian defender Waren Kamanzi (who left Tromsø after the 2022 season) put Toulouse in the lead. Just five minutes later, Joshua King extended the lead with another goal for the visiting team.

King was also instrumental in Toulouse’s third goal when he provided an assist. Although Saint-Étienne fought back and reduced to 2-3, the effort was not enough for victory.
