There are heated negotiations right now between Bayer Leverkusen who have brought in former Manchester United’s crisis manager Erik ten Hag after they “lost” Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid and Liverpool.
The unexpected success of the German club brought their manager to something bigger in La Liga and it also seems that Florian Wirtz is going further. Liverpool, where the bosses at Anfield have already put 120 million euros plus bonuses on the table, will probably have to cough up even more to land a deal.

Sky Sports reports that Bayer Leverkusen manager Erik ten Hag believes that it is a lack of support from Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola that is causing Jack Grealish to be down to a bottom of form.
The English left winger, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, joined Manchester City from Aston Villa on a transfer worth €117.5 million in the summer of 2021.
But Bayer Leverkusen are not alone in their pursuit of Jack Grealish. – Newcastle are preparing a bid of €80 million, which is far above what Bayer Leverkusen are willing to pay.
