Tottenham lost 5-2 away to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night. Igor Tudor chose before the game to give 22-year-old Antonin Kinsky his Champions League debut, this came after Tudor himself had stated that he prioritizes the Premier League over CL. 17 minutes into the game, the Tottenham coach took Kinsky out. After the game, Atletico star Griezmann thought it was all foolish of Tudor.
Kinsky was thrown in to the Atletico Lions at the Wanda Metropolitano, with a capacity of seventy thousand spectators, this after two League Cup games this season. One against Doncaster, the other against Newcastle.

Six minutes into the game, Atletico scored, eight minutes later it was Griezmann’s turn, then another goal for Atletico 15 minutes into the game. Tudor chose to replace Kinsky, who had two ugly goalkeeping mistakes. In came first goalkeeper Vicario, but seven minutes later Atletico’s 4th goal sat down.
It ended with a 5-2 win for Atletico Madrid. Goalscorer and veteran, Griezmann, thought the Tottenham manager’s treatment of Kinsky was strange.
“I think it’s a shame. If the coach (Igor Tudor) – him today or someone else – starts with him (Kinsky) as the first goalkeeper, then you should also go all the way with him,” Griezmann said, according to Canal+.
