Mohamed Salah is in the middle of what is shaping up to be his best season ever, 20 goals and we are only one day into the new year.

The first club are quick and come up with an offer for Mohamed Salah that blows Liverpool out of the water.

A European giant has taken an “approach to signing” Mohamed Salah, and has made an overwhelming offer.

Salah has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, and his existing deal will expire at the end of the season.

A move away from Anfield has been discussed as the 32-year-old superstar is still in talks with the club about extending his stay. Saudi Arabia could be an option if he does not agree terms with Liverpool, having been regularly linked with a move to the Middle East for the past 18 months. – Saudi Arabia has previously promised a salary higher than 200 million euros which is what Cristiano Ronaldo earns.

French journalist Romain Collet Gaudin claims that Paris Saint-Germain “have already offered” Salah an extremely lucrative three-year contract.

PSG are reportedly willing to pay the Egyptian a whopping €500,000 per week in wages. Liverpool’s proposed extension terms are believed to be lower than what PSG are willing to offer to Salah, who has a decision to make in the future.

Gaudin says Liverpool have put forward a two-year contract worth €400,000 per week.

In the midst of contract, Salah is enjoying a sensational season, having already scored 20 goals in all competitions.

He delivered an excellent game against West Ham United last weekend, scoring and assisting two goals.

After the game, he was asked about his contract saga to which he replied: “We’re a long way from that.

“I don’t want to put anything in the media and people start saying things, but nothing has really moved on.

“Now I’m focused on the team and hopefully we win the Premier League.”

Arne Slot praised Salah’s form and said: “Mo and the word extraordinary is something I’ve heard a lot in the last six months. He really deserves this. He doesn’t surprise us. We know what a player he is and what he is capable of.

“He works very hard apart from that when the opposing team has the ball. I would also like to add that when he scores, the chance is made by other players on the field. But when you put him in those positions, he’s extraordinary.”
