It is no secret that the status of the Club World Cup is much lower than, for example, the Champions League and many of the major national leagues.
This summer’s tournament is played in the United States and for the sake of the players, we hope none of them have tattoos and that they actually get entry permits. The tournament will be played between June 15th and July 13th with a total prize pool of one billion dollars.

“The Club World Cup distribution model reflects the pinnacle of club football and represents the largest prize money awarded at a football tournament consisting of seven matches in group stage and playoff format, with a potential prize of $125 million for the winner,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino told FIFA’s website.
Teams from Europe receive the largest sum for participation, ranging from $12.81 million to $38.19 million. The exact amount is determined by a ranking of sporting and commercial criteria.

The clubs from South America will receive $15.21 million. Teams from North and Central America, Asia and Africa get $9.55 million and Oceania gets the least with $3.58 million.
Every win is a bonus In the group stage, a win will bring in two million dollars, while a draw will give half.
For each round that the teams advance in the tournament, more money will be added.
For example, advancing from the group to the round of 16 will earn a team $7.5 million.
An additional $13.125 million will be added if they manage to qualify for the quarterfinals.
In the semi-finals, the additional bonus is $21 million, and the two finalists receive an additional $30 million.
And so it goes on until the winner, with an additional bonus of $40 million, for a final win, can be left with a sum of up to $125 million.
