Dele Alli refuses to give up. We have to go back to February 2023 for the last full game, after that the former Tottenham star has one substitute appearance since February 2023. His return to Everton in 2024 did not go as planned, injury problems took over, his contract with the Toffees expired in 2024. A surprising request from Como came in late 2025, but the collaboration with Como and Cesc Fagregas in Serie ended a few months later. Now, however, it looks like Alli has come “to a better place”. This time, four clubs are knocking on the door of the former England international.
According to Spanish Fichajes, there are as many as four La Liga clubs that have been in contact with Alli: Real Oviedo, Sevilla, Elche and Getafe.

Oviedo were the first to make a move. At the bottom of the La Liga table and in need of an “immediate moral boost” to reverse the trend. Dele is said to have ticked the boxes for them when it comes to “offensive leadership” and “international experience”.
However, they only propose a deal until the end of the season, with an extension option that requires certain criteria to be met. Contact has already been made with the player’s representatives.
Sevilla is considered to be in a more “delicate economic scenario”, making a deal unlikely. However, they are exploring the possibility of getting Dele on board “under very tight salary limits”.
They, like Real Oviedo, will propose a short-term contract that includes an extension clause if “the player performs on the pitch”. They see Dele as an “adaptable attacking midfielder, able to offer tactical options without compromising on wage costs”. He is a low-risk option for a team hoping to push into the top half of the Liga table.

Elche is reported to be the “best placed club” in terms of deals with Dele. They are just outside right away from the ticket to play in Europe. Their proposal is also “the most solid financially: A two-year contract and a total salary of close to two million euros.”
Getafe, who previously bet on Mason Greenwood during his time at Manchester United, is also keeping an eye on Dele’s situation. Their contract offer would be “for a season and a half, in line with the goal of stabilizing the project and retaining the coach.”

Either way, it looks like Dele Alli will be rewarded for the extreme patience and fighting spirit he has shown since his career took a nosedive from the top as a Premier League star and England international.
