Arsenal are expected to be very active in the upcoming transfer window as Mikel Arteta looks for a long-awaited reinforcement in attack. Going forward, only league gold is good enough.
Injuries have ravaged the club’s attacking line-up this season, and the Gunners are planning to sign a new striker over the course of the year, with Benjamin Šeško, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyökeres among the north London club’s interests.

At the same time, more first-team players are expected to leave the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window, with a significant shake-up in the squad on the horizon.
Five players who could leave Arsenal this summer:
Oleksandr Zinchenko
Zinchenko was a key player for Arsenal after arriving from Manchester City in 2022, but the Ukrainian international got limited playing time in the final season.
The emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back has made Zinchenko an almost forgotten figure despite injuries – he only started five Premier League games last season.
With Zinchenko’s contract running out, Arsenal are likely to look to cash in on the player rather than lose him for free next summer.

Takehiro Tomiyasu
When he is injury-free, Tomiyasu has been an important piece for Arsenal, but injuries have slowed his development in London. With only one year left on his contract, he could be sold this summer.
The arrivals of Jurriën Timber and Riccardo Calafiori, combined with Lewis-Skelly’s breakthroughs, make the Japanese full-back redundant.
However, Arsenal could struggle to secure a high transfer fee due to Tomiyasu’s injury history.
Gabriel Jesus
Jesus eventually showed signs of becoming a reliable goalscorer for Arsenal in late 2024, but a cruciate ligament injury ended the season early. He may have already played his last game for the club.
With Arteta’s desperate need for a new striker, Jesus could be sold to fund signings such as Šeško, Isak or Gyökeres.
The Brazilian has two years left on his contract, which means that Arsenal are running out of time to recoup their €52.2 million investment.
Thomas Partey
Partey’s contract expires at the end of June, and all indications are that he will not extend – marking the end of his Arsenal career.
Martin Zubimendi is ready to take over his role, with a deal all but in place, while Partey is expected to find a new club.
Barcelona have shown interest, and several Saudi Pro League clubs are also linked with the Ghanaian midfielder.
Jorginho
Just like Partey, Jorginho will also be a Bosman player this summer, and has reportedly signed a pre-contract with Brazilian side Flamengo.
Thus, his two-and-a-half-year Arsenal tenure and seven years in the Premier League are coming to an end.
Although the Italian midfielder has had a limited role, his leadership qualities will be missed in the dressing room.
