There haven’t been many balloons to blow up for Christopher Nkunku in the Chelsea shirt. Brought in as the next big striker in 2023 at Stamford Bridge, the France international has never really gained a foothold at Chelsea. Linked to the exit in the past year, the former RB Leipzig star will finally (for all parties) change clubs. Chelsea invested around €50 million in Nkunku 2023, now the London club covers most of it.
Nkunku was linked to Machester United for a few hectic summer weeks before Sesko signing, now it is out of the Premier League for the 27-year-old.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea and AC Milan have verbally agreed on a transfer for Christopher Nkunku. The price tag will end up at around 42 million euros including bonuses. In addition, “The Blues” have negotiated a resale clause in the deal, so if the Frenchman performs at the San Siro, there is a potential nice extra income for Chelsea in the event of a sale.
The player with 18 goals and 5 assists in 62 appearances at Chelsea is reported to be travelling to Italy for medical tests and signing.
