Rasmus Højlund feels pushed away
The Manchester Evening News writes that Rasmus Hojlund feels forced to leave Manchester United. He is reportedly unhappy with the situation, and is now willing to move to AC Milan.
Rasmus Højlund has reportedly changed his mind
The Danish star has previously stated that he wants to stay at Manchester United to fight for his place in the team, despite new competition in the coming season.
But now he is linked with AC Milan, who sent a delegation to Manchester to negotiate a transfer.
Now, however, there is positive news for the AC Milan camp, as Hojlund is reportedly ready for a move to Milan.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Hojlund feels forced to leave the club after Benjamin Šeško joined. The Dane is also said to be very unhappy, as he feels pushed out of United.
From “will stay” to “must go”
It is barely two weeks ago that Højlund emphasized that he wanted to stay at United. But now the club is reportedly no longer going to have him.
Thus, it looks like Højlund will have to go to AC Milan.
The media further writes that United are confident that a deal with AC Milan can be in place shortly. However, it is unclear whether there will be a permanent transfer already now.
AC Milan reportedly want to hire Hojlund first.
Two years at United
Rasmus Hojlund has been at Manchester United for the past two years and has a contract until the summer of 2028.
