42-year-old Pep Lijnders, who was assistant coach to Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool, will be interviewed by Norwich about the club’s vacant coaching job. (That was before his old boss became global head of football at Red Bull).
According to The Telegraph, Championship club Norwich City are holding a meeting with Jürgen Klopp’s former assistant coach Pep Lijnders this week. Besides Lijnder, Norwich have already interviewed former Wolverhampton manager Gary O’Neil, while Steve Cooper is also said to be in the running for the job – but is considered a less likely candidate.

Norwich have been looking for a new manager since the club chose to dismiss Johannes Hoff Thorup in April.
The “Canaries” finished 13th in the Championship this season.
