Although the Serie A table says otherwise, Juventus and Roma are two giants of Italian football. The two clubs have housed the greatest legends, but in recent years have struggled to keep up with the two Milan clubs and Napoli. On Sunday it was time for Roma – Juventus, in the stands sat the coach with one of the Premier League’s “most photographed heads”.
When Erik ten Hag physically sits down in the VIP stands at clubs, the former United manager is connected directly to work. On Sunday, the Dutchman had made the trip to Rome.

Roma drew 1-1 with Juventus, both of which could be relevant for Ten Hag. Juventus sacked Thago Motta last month, Roma are also rumoured to be looking for a new coach in the summer, with “retired” Claudio Ranieri likely to have done his part after the end of the season.
Roma channel Radio Mana is said to have observed Ten Hag in the stands, when the Dutchman himself has expressed he is ready to return, we can only interpret it as something going on. The question is whether the visit was for Roma, or Juventus.
