Isak Hansen-Aarøen left the Manchester United academy without a debut in the senior team, to the bench at Werder Bremen in 2024. After three games in the Bundesliga club, it was time to rent to Danish Aab. Here, the 20-year-old has got seven games on the pitch so far. It was still a city trip, which the Danish media got hung up on. On Sunday, the “answer” came from the Norwegian player.
Last week, Aab suffered a stinging 0-4 defeat against Viborg. Travis Hernes, Isak Hansen-Aarøen and Andres Jasson were “spotted in Aalborg’s nightlife”, as Danish Bold puts it. Even in Denmark, this became too difficult to digest. The players apologized, on Sunday there was tension related to whether the Aab coach would put Hansen-Aarøen and the other two in the freezer.

Coach Menno van Dam had apparently accepted the apology, and had both Travis Hernes and Isak Hansen-Aarøen in the starting eleven. This time it ended 1-1 against Velje – without a subsequent city trip.
Danish Bold was concerned about whether the former Manchester United player felt he had anything to prove on Sunday, but did not get the headline they were looking for.
“We have said what we want to say about that situation. Now we have made good progress. We worked as a team and it was a good game, says Isak Hansen-Aarøen.
