radarThe “Cottagers” are now hunting for a deal for Kevin, who they have identified as a suitable target to bolster the team.
Fulham are likely to see the Brazilian winger as a replacement for Willian, who left the club when his contract expired at the end of last season.
Kevin has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in 55 appearances since joining Shakhtar from Palmeiras in January 2024.
Club-record offer underway
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are willing to break their own transfer record to sign the highly valued Brazilian.
Emile Smith Rowe is currently the club’s most expensive signing after Fulham paid £34 million for him from Arsenal last summer.
But a club-record sum still can’t be enough to sign Kevin from the Ukrainian club.
Shakhtar are reportedly demanding more than three times the €15 million (£13 million) they paid for Kevin when they signed him from Palmeiras.
How will Kevin fit in at Fulham?
Fulham manager Marco Silva currently has Harry Wilson, Adama Traoré and Alex Iwobi as his main winger choices.
Kevin will no doubt be a first-team selection if he comes to Craven Cottage.
Although he is right-footed, the Shakhtar star usually operates from the left wing in attack for his current club.
If the transfer is completed before the transfer window closes on September 1, he will likely be placed on the left wing in Silva’s preferred 4-2-3-1 system.
