Marcus Rashford was reasonably harsh when he in his first interview as a Barcelona player gave his opinion of Manchester United’s development towards a position as a title contender: “There can be no development if it doesn’t start…” Starting at Barcelona, Rashford was supposed to speed up his own development. During his first month as a Barca player, he was called up to the England national team again. Renowned Spanish journalist Guillem Balague reports Barcelona representatives have spoken directly to Rashford’s representatives to debunk the story, insisting that they still believe he will rediscover his best form in Catalonia this season.

Also, the hyperactive transfer journalist Romano reports that there is “absolutely no truth to the allegations that Barcelona dump Rashford in January.
