Those who caught the BBC’s radio coverage of the Manchester derby got to hear the always entertaining commentators compare the big game to the sunny spring day: The first lazy Sunday. Because it was a tame performance from both Manchester clubs. The fear of losing was apparently so great for both managers that they forgot what the supporters are paying for. United legend Roy Keane lashed out at the unwillingness to sacrifice himself among the United players, and had to point to Solskjaer as a role model. Gary Neville went straight for five players that he believes must be sold.

-They need five new players, Manchester United, immediately before you even think about the rest of it. The three up front are not good enough, the two at the back and one [up front] and the two wing-backs, they are not good enough. So they need to give him (Amorim) five players who are good enough in this system to be able to play his system the way he wants,” Neville told Sky Sports.

The Standard helps identify the five players that Neville believes are not up to scratch:

Rasmus Højlund, Joshua Zirkzee, Diogo Dalot, Patrick Dorgu and Alejandro Garnacho. If we are to interpret Neville, Amorim football will be doomed to fail with this handful of players on the pitch.
