The 25-year-old is not only a goal guarantor out of this world, Haaland also has the mentality, work discipline and engine to lift the whole team – even without scoring. Now a “new” suitor has come on the scene for goal guarantor/team player Haaland.
It is nothing new that Ligue 1 giants PSG are interested in Haaland, but the French club has so far been a little low in the landscape. According to Teamtalk’s sources , this has changed. PSG have lived well with having Ousmane Dembelé at the top, last season he was presented with the Ballon d’Or award. This season, however, things have started to get a bit jarring, with signs that Dembelé and the PSG management are in an incipient conflict, with the superstar’s future in Paris uncertain. Now PSG are sounding the mood with Haaland. There is little to suggest that the Norwegian international striker is in a hurry to leave Manchester City, and when this happens, La Liga is probably the next destination. Nevertheless, PSG have started to position themselves.
Whether PSG are pushing Dembélé towards the exit door, or trying to repair the relationship, remains unclear, but what is certain is that the club is preparing for all eventualities – including monitoring Haaland’s availability, no matter how unlikely that path may be in the short term.
