Last week was heavy for manager Wayne Rooney and Plymouth with two losses, 1-10 on aggregate. The English media and those who rejoice when the United legend goes down as a coach, are waiting for the confirmation where the 39-year-old will be sent out after a short time – again. The Plymouth boss promises to disappoint this group.

“There’s no question of sacking Wayne, but it’s a question of how we can support him in becoming the fantastic coach we think he can be,” club owner Simon Hallett said, according to the Plymouth Herald.

The coach is still in the early stages of his career after short stints at Derby, D.C. United and Birmingham. The Plymouth owner’s indisputable support for the 39-year-old shows that Wayne Rooney has finally come “home”.

Now Rooney does not have to dive from game to game, here it can be built and delivered. We’re rooting for the United icon!
