Bodø/Glimt’s attacking weapon Kasper Høgh has extended his contract with the club until the 2029 season.
There has been enormous interest in the Dane, including from Ole Gunnar Solskjær who is the manager of the Turkish big club Beşiktaş JK.

For me, there was no doubt. I am extremely fond of Bodø, and when we started talking about it and that the possibility of extending was there, it fell on reasonably good soil for both me and the club. I’m happy about that, and this is God’s work,” says Kasper Høgh to glimt.no. (You can also watch an interview)
Høgh joined Glimt from Stabæk in January 2024 and has since put in 35 goals in 62 games in the yellow shirt. This season, he stands with 13 goals and shares the top scorer spot in the Eliteserien with Sarpsborg’s Daniel Karlsbakk.
His original contract expired in 2028, but now it has been extended for another year. Glimt of course hopes that Høgh sticks to the strong goalscoring flair he has shown so far. Soon, Sturm Graz awaits in the final qualifying round for the Champions League – a match where Glimt need their goal-happy striker in top form.
