Solskjaer’s last game as Man United manager against Guardiola and City did end in a 2-0 defeat at the beginning of November 2021, but we remember well the lead-up to this match. Sky Sports pulled out the statistics, which showed Solskjaer had a particularly good grip on Guardiola in their 8 meetings as managers of United and City.
