Erling Haaland “went wild” on Jamie Carragher seconds into their CBS Sports interview on Wednesday night.
Haaland scored the winning goal for Manchester City as they registered a second win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. Rodrygo opened the scoring with his first goal in 32 games before Nico O’Reilly equalised with his first-ever Champions League goal.
Manchester City won 1 – 2 against Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu and increased the pressure on Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso. Spanish media do not believe Alonso has many downs left before he is sacked.

Erling Haaland put Manchester City in the lead with a quiet penalty kick towards the end of the first half after Antonio Rüdiger “fouled him” inside the penalty area.
City held on to the lead to move up to fourth place in the Champions League table with their fourth win of the season.

Fresh from scoring his 55th goal in the Champions League, Haaland was put on media duty and spoke to CBS for a typically entertaining chat.
Former City defender Micah Richards chanted Haaland’s name loudly and with great energy to kick off the segment, but then the Norwegian took the panel by surprise with his first comment.
Referring to his comments about Mohamed Salah and the situation at Liverpool, Haaland said: “Oh, I get nervous now when I see Jamie Carragher in the studio.”
The studio erupted in a combination of laughter and shock, with Haaland and Carragher also sharing a laugh.
Carragher replied: “You don’t have to be nervous, Erling!”
Richards then interrupted and asked if Haaland preferred Rüdiger or Carragher, to which he replied: “I mean, I think I have to say Rüdiger now because Carragher is a bit of a loose cannon!”
After seeing him sit down with Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer on The Rest is Football, Carragher then went on to try and recruit Haaland for an appearance on Stick to Football with himself, Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
But given Keane’s history with his father Alf-Inge, Haaland had a suggestion, saying: “I mean Jamie Carragher at this moment, and Roy Keane, I think I need to bring my dad.” More laughter followed, but Carragher was happy to accommodate that request, saying, “Deal!”
Haaland now has 21 goals in as many games this season, and in the Champions League he is now one goal away from matching one of the tournament’s biggest goalscorers.
Haaland is one behind former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy on 56 and will become the joint eighth record scorer in the Champions League with his next goal.
Taken off after 70 minutes, Haaland hopes to be among the goals again on Sunday when City travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
