In January, the confirmation came that surprised many. Not that Erling Haaland extended his contract with Manchester City, but that the 24-year-old effectively committed himself to the Premier League club for the rest of his career. In the last month, however, there have been claims from the English and Spanish media that the world’s most effective striker has an opening in the contract that Real Madrid intend to exploit. Haaland’s agent takes the question of whether this is true, answers evasively, but concludes with what can be interpreted as a “anything can happen”.
Rafaela Pimenta was asked in an interview about the Real Madrid rumour.

-People like to talk a lot, and there will always be rumours. I have no comment, and I don’t relate to it,” Pimenta begins, according to transfer journalist Romano.
The agent was also asked if there is a buyout clause in the City star’s contract.
“A buyout clause?” I don’t comment on contracts,” Pimenta continues.

Then it comes, which answers the questions that are not answered:
“Erling has complete freedom. Because when you do well, you do what you want, you have a good deal, and then you have freedom,” says the Brazilian agent.
An agreement that allows you to do what you want.
In other words, the day Erling Haaland wants to leave City, or wants to go to Real Madrid, it happens. Regardless of contract until 2034.
