Former Bayern boss and club legend Oliver Kahn is known for talking without a filter. Those who followed the goalkeeper with 632 games in the Bayern shirt and 86 for the German national team, remember he scared the waters off opponents, referees – and teammates with his outbursts. Now it is a more level-headed Kahn we experience in the stands and in interviews about his old club. Now the 56-year-old believes he has hardly seen such a strong Bayern team as this. Harry Kane and the gang are doing it almost “too well”.
“I have rarely seen FC Bayern as strong as they are right now – not only in the Bundesliga, but also internationally. The team plays almost like clockwork, Kahn begins on the Sky program “Triple – den Hagedorn-Fußballtalk”

“I wouldn’t go so far as to say that FC Bayern will easily win the Champions League – that’s not the case. But right now, for me, they are the best team in Europe in terms of the way they play football,” Kahn boasts.
One of the main reasons for Bayern’s success this season, according to Kahn, is the breadth of the squad.
-There is an indicator at FC Bayern that is very, very descriptive. Basically, you can field almost anyone from the squad, and the quality hardly drops – sometimes not at all. In the past, it was always a sign that it would be a very successful season,” Kahn continues
In the midst of all the high praise, however, Kahn issued a small warning.
-The only thing – and I’m always a fan of resistance and challenges – is that things are almost going too well at the moment. Maybe even a little too good; everything is going incredibly smoothly,” the former Bayern boss concludes.

For Harry Kane, this bodes particularly well. If there is one player we wish for a Champions League title, it is Kane.
