The saga of Harry Kane. The Premier League’s second-highest scoring player is wanted back to Tottenham to “finish the job”. In Barcelona, there are also reports of strong interest in persuading the English 32-year-old to replace Robert Lewandowski on an expiring contract. Now, for the first time, one of the world’s best strikers responds to the rumours.
It was The Guardian that earlier this month reported on Barcelona’s plan with Kane as Lewandowski’s replacement. Mr. Kane is in contact with Bayern Munich until 2027, stands with 24 goals in 18 games this season, well on his way to his second Bundesliga title and does not appear to be in a hurry, either to return to the Premier League or make his debut in La Liga.

“I have not had contact with anyone, no one has approached me. It’s very unlikely that anything will happen after this season I feel very comfortable in the current situation, even though Bayern and I have not yet talked about my future,” Kane said, according to Bild.
