After over a decade in the Premier League, Kane established himself as one of England’s most goal-scoring players ever, before surprising everyone with a move to Bayern Munich.
The 31-year-old has continued to impress for his new club, scoring 36 Bundesliga goals in his first 32 games, but rumours of a return to the English top flight have never quite died down.
The latest rumours claimed that Kane was considering a return as early as this summer, with Liverpool as a possible destination. Now he has finally clarified his feelings on the matter.
What did Kane say?
According to Spanish website El Nacional, people “close to Kane” have stated that he is “seriously considering returning to the Premier League to end his career in England.”
Later reports claimed that Liverpool were the favourites to sign the former Tottenham striker, as they search for replacements for goal-dry attackers Darwin Núñez and Diogo Jota.

But Kane himself has now come out to dispel the rumours and assure Bayern fans that he wants to stay at the club.
When asked about a possible return to England, Kane replied to ESPN:
- Kane emphasizes that he is happy at Bayern and not actively looking for a way out.
- But he does not avoid acknowledging that “things can change quickly” in the world of football.
- This suggests that the door is not completely closed, but a transition in the near future seems unlikely.
Bayern’s situation
Bayern are still in a strong position to win the Bundesliga, with a six-point lead and seven games to go. They will also face Inter Milan in the Champions League quarter-finals after a 5-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the previous round.
While Kane is not ruling out a future return to England, it seems clear that he is not actively seeking a transfer now. For Liverpool, it means they will have to look elsewhere if they want a new striker this summer.
