Harry Kane has already spoken to his England international colleague about a move to Bayern Munich.
Marc Guehi’s current contract expires next summer, and his club Crystal Palace have previously confirmed that the central defender will leave the Eagles, either in the new year or when his contract expires.
Bayern Munich reign supreme in the Bundesliga and, unlike Liverpool (and Crystal Palace), are “guaranteed play” in the Champions League.

Guehi was close to a £35 million move to Liverpool on the last day of the transfer window in September, but Palace halted the deal at the last minute when they were unable to secure a replacement.
Liverpool are expected to return for Guehi next month, but are unlikely to pay £35m for the central defender. Some sources suggest that Palace will be willing to sell for £25 million.
However, the Premier League champions brought in a central defender in the summer, as they secured the services of Giovanni Leoni from Parma.
However, Leoni suffered a season-ending ACL injury in his debut game for Arne Slot’s side, as Liverpool recorded a 2-1 home win over Championship side Southampton in the EFL Cup earlier this year.
However, Liverpool are not the only team linked with interest in the 25-year-old player, who has several potential suitors across Europe.
Liverpool face competition from European heavyweights
One of these is Bayern Munich, where Kane is now doing his best to convince Guehi to swap London for Munich.
Guehi could sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs from January 1, which would lead to a free transfer next year, although Palace are hoping to get a transfer fee for their captain.
Bayern, who top the Bundesliga, have been following Guehi for weeks now and hope they can secure the English star ahead of their European rivals Liverpool.
LaLiga pairings Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been keeping an eye on Guehi as the battle for the defender intensifies.
Real Madrid were previously linked with a move for Liverpool central defender Ibrahima Konaté, who, like Guehi, is out of contract until the summer.
It has since been reported that Real Madrid will not pursue a purchase of Konaté, and may instead turn their attention to Guehi.
Palace aim for another three points after a win of the week
Guehi impressed for Palace this week as the Eagles secured a 1-0 win away to relegation-threatened Burnley, after recovering from a 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
And the Eagles will be hoping to secure two league wins in a row when they make the short trip across the capital to face London rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.
Bayern, on the other hand, currently lead the Bundesliga by eight points ahead of Saturday’s game against VfB Stuttgart, as they aim to extend their lead at the top of the German top division.
