This summer, several Premier League clubs were on the scene to secure Norwegian talent Antonio Nusa, but the left winger, who joined RB Leipzig from Club Brugge in the summer of 2024, stayed at the German big club. Now the Norwegian international is on the list of replacements for one of Europe’s best wingers.

Rafael Leo has been heavily linked to the biggest Premier League clubs for several years, but the Portuguese has loyally remained with AC Milan all the way since 2019. At the last extension, the club narrowed a buyout clause of a wild 170 million euros. Then came the fall.

Leao is still doing his thing, but this season has been inconsistent, to say the least, with far too many poor performances, with the Milan management opening up to possible bids for the Portuguese this summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport . We are not talking about a buyout clause level, but up to 80 million euros.

If this happens, AC Milan will turn around to find a replacement. The ideal candidate seems to be more of a winger than a striker, a role that Allegri has placed the Portuguese player in this season. La Gazzetta claims Antonio Nusa, who made himself known to the Italian public with two outstanding performances against Italy in the World Cup qualifiers, is high on this list.

So far, Nusa has 8 goals and 10 assists in 63 games in the RB Leipzig shirt with what seems like a permanent place in the starting eleven, but if Leipzig miss out on the Champions League ticket (currently number five), the Germans could be open to bids of around €35 million for Nusa.
