Bruno Fernandes has a contract with Manchester United until 2026, which means either an extension in the summer or a sale.
Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal are making another attempt to sign Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United now that they know what it will cost.

Earlier this month, a Saudi journalist reported that Al Hilal, who have qualified for this summer’s Club World Cup, had made initial contact with Fernandes’ representatives regarding a potential transfer.
United boss Ruben Amorim reiterated after his team’s 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao last week that he wanted to keep his captain at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese midfielder has a contract until the summer of 2026, but there have been no indications that he is willing to leave the club.
New meeting scheduled
Nevertheless, journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Al Hilal have not given up the chase and are planning a new meeting with the player’s representatives “this week”.
It is added that Fernandes will have just one week to give a “final answer” on whether he wants to sign for the Saudi Arabian club.
Al Hilal have identified Aston Villa’s Youri Tielemans as an option if Fernandes rejects the offer.
United will demand high amount
Even if the midfielder is open to a transfer, Al Hilal will still have to negotiate with Manchester United.
In January, it was reported that Real Madrid were unwilling to pay £100 million to bring the 30-year-old to the Bernabéu – and this price is likely to rise significantly if United qualify for the Champions League.
Amorim’s side will need to defeat Tottenham in the Europa League final on May 21 to secure European football next season – a result that could determine whether Fernandes stays or not.
Previously declined offers
In March, the Portuguese star revealed that he turned down an offer from an unnamed club to leave Old Trafford last summer. Talks about his future with then-manager Erik ten Hag were about whether he wanted to remain a key player, rather than a desire to leave.
“We talked about the possibility that I could leave the club or stay,” Fernandes said.
“They told me what they expected of me.
“I just asked if they still saw me as part of the club’s future or not. I also spoke to Ten Hag at the time.
“He was very clear, and the club was very clear that they envisioned me to be a big part of this rebuild. I thought we could succeed.
Al Hilal have heard that Bruno Fernandes’ lower limit is 30 million euros a year to leave Europe.
