Monza has been struggling in Serie A this season, leading the club to make another coaching change—reappointing a coach they had dismissed just a month ago.
Dismissed in December, returns in February: Alessandro Nesta back as head coach of AC Monza.
The Italian side said that Nesta will take over as manager following the sacking of Salvatore Bocchetti, who replaced Nesta in December, signing a contract until June 2027.

Bocchetti replaced Nesta in December, signing a contract until June 2027, but his side registered only one win in seven league games, and Sunday’s 5-1 loss at Lazio was Monza’s fourth consecutive defeat.
The club now sits at the bottom of Serie A, eight points adrift of safety.

Nesta had replaced Raffaele Palladino in the summer, earning 10 points from 17 matches at the helm, which also included a 1-1 draw against leading champions Inter.
Reports indicate that the Italian coach has signed a contract until June, with an option to extend for another year.
