Newcastle fans follow a proud tradition of lighting a fire on the shirts of players who misbehave.
Some Newcastle fans are very angry with Alexander Isak (25). Pictures on social media show an enraged supporter lighting the Swedish player’s shirt to show his displeasure.

The reason for the frustration is the transfer speculation that surrounds the attacking player. Yesterday, Tuesday, The Athletic reported that Isak refuses to play any more for Newcastle, and this comes in the wake of Liverpool keeping an eye on the Swede.
“There are transfers every summer, but I don’t think you should behave toxic or extreme by refusing to play or train. That could be what forces a transfer in the end, so who am I to say it’s wrong, but I don’t like it. They pay his salary, they have treated you well, you have behaved well. Keep training, keep playing and hope a deal gets done,” Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher told The i Paper about Isak’s behaviour.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle do not blame Isak himself, but the player’s agent.
The Times has reported that Isak has even moved out of his home in Newcastle in pursuit of a club transfer. The Daily Mail denies this link. Neighbors inform the newspaper that Isak has long had plans to move due to burglaries on two occasions.
At the moment, Isak is isolated from the rest of the Newcastle squad and training on his own. The 25-year-old is expected to be out of the squad for the Premier League opener against Aston Villa on Saturday.
