It was dead quiet at Anfield, as a packed stadium with red-clad supporters had set aside the day to celebrate the Premier League title. Twelve minutes into the game, Dominic Solanke scored and Tottenham took the lead. An excellent start for the London club, who in a few days will face what Postecoglou called “the big game” against Bodø/Glimt. Four minutes later, the Liverpool players dyed red for the rest of the game. A 1-5 loss to Tottenham was as directed for Liverpool’s big celebration, for Spurs a miserable run-up to the Europa League semi-finals. The London club has nevertheless started planning finals.
On UEFA’s website, the odds are barely in Tottenham’s favour, but the Premier League club has apparently started planning for Bodø/Glimt not to stand in the way of the final ticket.

According to Birmingham Live, the Spurs management has submitted a written request to the Premier League for the match against Aston Villa to be moved from May 18 to May 15.
The argument for moving the match is said to be that the Tottenham management will steer the meeting against Villa furthest away from the Europa League final in Bilbao, on May 21.
Wise to plan, but if the picture is that Bodø/Glimt will not be a match for the big club in the Premier League, then Tottenham will have a handicap. We have seen time and time again how Bodø/Glimt’s pressure has put out blasé football multi-millionaires in a “this should not happen”.
The English media also reports that the Aston Villa management was not willing to change the date.
