Kevin de Bruyne has opened the door for a surprise move to Arsenal or another English big club in the summer.
De Bruyne announced earlier this month that he will leave Manchester City when his contract expires at the end of the season, ending a legendary ten-year spell with the Sky Blues.

MLS plans on hold?
It was widely believed that De Bruyne would move to the United States to end his career in MLS, with reports of advanced talks with San Diego.
However, in
recent days, speculation has surfaced that top clubs such as Arsenal could make an attempt at the Belgian star. And De Bruyne has not ruled out staying in the Premier League.

What did De Bruyne say?
“Honestly, I don’t know. The decision to leave is not that old,” De Bruyne said.
“I have to talk to them (the clubs) and then we’ll see which team wants me. So I don’t know. I have no idea.
Arsenal as favourite?
Arsenal are seen as the most likely option if De Bruyne chooses to stay in England.
Manager Mikel Arteta previously worked with De Bruyne when he was assistant to Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal are also on the hunt for at least one – maybe two – new central midfielders, and Arteta wants an experienced player who can help them finally win the Premier League after probably three runners-up in a row.
Emotional farewell from City
De Bruyne said a heartfelt goodbye to City’s fans at the beginning of May through a personal message:
A legendary career
De Bruyne has had a phenomenal career at Manchester City and will be remembered as perhaps the club’s greatest player ever.
Since joining from Wolfsburg in 2015, he has scored 71 goals and provided a whopping 118 assists in 279 Premier League appearances.
He has won six Premier League titles, been named Premier League Player of the Year twice, as well as the Champions League, two FA Cup titles and five League Cup trophies.
