Anders Trondsen was clubless for almost half a year after he left Turkish side Trabzonspor in the summer of 2023. It was the Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg who finally secured the former, Stabæk, Sarpsborg and Rosenborg midfielder.
Now he is on his way to a 2nd Bundesliga club in crisis.
A couple of days into the new year, there were reports that Eintracht Braunschweig, who are second bottom in the 2nd Bundesliga, had made a bid for IFK Göteborg’s Anders Trondsen.
They obviously got a good response, because now Blåvitt and Eintracht Braunschweig are only details away from completing the transfer. In practice, all that remains is the medical examination and a signing.
Expressen writes that the parties have agreed on a price for Anders Trondsen of 500,000 euros.
Trondsen has a contract with IFK Göteborg that expires in the summer of 2026.
